So, those pesky children’s Christmas gifts...Have you bought them, wrapped them and stacked them under your tree yet?
Me neither. But I’m not fretting. Not just yet anyway. The all important lists are in my possession and I am trawling through them as we speak. I have added a few little trinkets of my own such as a personalised compact mirror and personalised jewellery box. I have also ordered some lovely personalised stationery too - the failsafe present that all little girls and boys will adore!
I’m not quite sure how to go about dealing with the particular..

Half term is upon us and thousands of delighted children have taken to our parks, cinemas, shops and streets. Everywhere is packed to the rafters! It’s a short but sweet school holiday peppered with halloween preparations and weather-permitting excursions which, more often than not, result in mud getting somewhere it shouldn't...
I love how children live in the moment, soaking up the autumn rays, revelling in frosty breath and fireworks. If only mums and dads could do the same! You see, since becoming a parent I have realised that half term isn't just a little jolly to break up the season. ..
If your child left nursery this year, I do feel your pain. It was a few years ago now that I stood outside those gates and shed a tear as little Martha trounced out for the very last time.
With a spring in her step and high hopes in her heart, she never looked back, not even once.
I love how Children don’t have a jot of sentimentality in their little hearts, don’t you?!
It was the parents who had big, blobby tears falling down their faces as they mourned the end of babyhood. For me, it was also the notion that those wide-eyed girls and boys didn’t have a clue what’..
Buying children presents is never an easy task. Their fads and fancies change like the wind and what you thought was a dead cert often turns into a dead end…Months of Minions are suddenly forgotten for the new craze on the block and on it goes. Woe betide the chancer who gifts the wrong superhero without doing their research first.
But there is one thing that ALL children love and that is something, anything, with their name emblazoned on it. There's nothing more thrilling to a child than ownership, that’s why we give you the option of adding names to our children’s beds as well a..

It’s time. We must down tools and get those Christmas thinking caps on.
Outfits, food, decorations and most importantly - presents!
The biggest gifts are usually the easiest ones to sort out. The ones we know will be greeted with howls of delight and eternal thanks (for about two weeks at least...). We can get these boxed off, boxed up and ready to go under the tree.
It’s the little ones that get us all in a tizzy. What can we possibly put in those stockings that won’t get cast aside like an old stinky sock the moment they’re unwrapped?
Well here at Little Luc..
I know you probably don't want to hear this, but it's time, I'm afraid, to start thinking about...just wait while I crawl under the desk and cover my ears...Christmas!
I am as reluctant as you probably are believe me, but time is pushing on and there are presents to be bought, so come on, chop chop.
Just in case you are resting on your laurels and think there is literally bags of time until the big fella jumps into your chimney pot - so to speak - let me show you my autumn pics.
These images of Heskin Hall, taken over the last three we..
The month of July has now begun and the summer holidays are almost within reach! With this in mind, also looming is the age old dilemma of what to buy for the teacher…
Before I became a school mum, in those heady days when I was young, free, childless and single, I recall having the same discussion with my sister when her daughter was in reception.
It was Christmas time and she was ‘umming’ and ‘ahhing’ over a candle or a bottle of fizz. (I know, the good old days of simple pressies eh?) I think she opted for the candle in the end, but no thanks to me. I was too busy rantin..
