September is rather like spring in that it’s full of promise and new beginnings.

So, those pesky children’s Christmas gifts...Have you bought them, wrapped them and stacked them under your tree yet?
Me neither. But I’m not fretting. Not just yet anyway. The all important lists are in my possession and I am trawling through them as we speak. I have added a few little trinkets of my own such as a personalised compact mirror and personalised jewellery box. I have also ordered some lovely personalised stationery too - the failsafe present that all little girls and boys will adore!

If your child left nursery this year, I do feel your pain. It was a few years ago now that I stood outside those gates and shed a tear as little Martha trounced out for the very last time.
With a spring in her step and high hopes in her heart, she never looked back, not even once.
I love how Children don’t have a jot of sentimentality in their little hearts, don’t you?!
It was the parents who had big, blobby tears falling down their faces as they mourned the end of babyhood. For me, it was also the notion that those wide-eyed girls and boys didn’t have a clue what’..

Outfits, food, decorations and most importantly - presents!
The biggest gifts are usually the easiest ones to sort out. The ones we know will be greeted with howls of delight and eternal thanks (for about two weeks at least...). We can get these boxed off, boxed up and ready to go under the tree.
It’s the little ones that get us all in a tizzy. What can we possibly put in those stockings that won’t get cast aside like an old stinky sock the moment they’re unwrapped?
