However old your child may be, another school year means new uniforms, bigger shoes and more homework. With that added workload in mind, now could be the right time to start thinking about buying your budding student a desk. Somewhere for them to work quietly without distraction. Something spacious, solid and practical. Somewhere to feel inspired perhaps?
Well it just so happens that we have exactly what you are looking for right here. From our cute Looby Lou Single Deskto our Archie Double Pedestal Desk we have designs to suit every child and their bedroom.
Now here’s the technical bit. Each desk is lovingly made using a combination of Scandinavian Redwood Pine and tough composite panels, both of which are sourced from UK manufacturers. Our skilled craftsmen then get to work to create a solid, dependable piece of furniture that your child will still be using well into their college years and beyond.
Where relevant, all drawer sides, backs and bases are constructed from 18mm composite panels which are dovetail jointed and painted inside and out. The drawers open and close on a wood to wood mechanism with drawer stops applied as standard.
Every board, post and knob is sanded by hand and passed through our workshop. Finally, a highly durable and hard wearing paint is applied creating a smooth, pristine finish, resistant to everyday wear and tear.
