Well hello again! It seems like ages since my last post but I suppose that’s Christmas for you. We’re all in that vortex of “the eighth day of the week” when nobody seems to know whether it’s Wednesday, Sunday, breakfast or bedtime. Luckily, whatever time of day or night it is, a nap or a bowl of trifle always seems appropriate for some reason. I have had far too little of the former and much too much of the latter as it happens but I’m hoping the balance will have been redressed by the time normality resumes…
So how was your Christmas? Mine was hectic but lovely and I received some gorgeous gifts, including some interesting ones too (thanks for the pedometer mum, talk about a hint!) There have been the usual piles of wrapping paper to wrestle with and a slight storage problem thanks to the generosity of Santa, which I shall no doubt tackle properly in the new year. In fact, we’ll tackle it together, as we have some great solutions at Little Lucy Willow that could be the answer to all your prayers! For now, I am so tired, that believe it or not, I couldn’t care less if I never saw that hoover again, or the iron, or the duster for that matter. However, I probably couldn’t find any of them if I wanted to such is the chaos in our house at the moment. I’ve been so overwhelmed by the mess that I began blotting it out with chocolate and my right hand has now morphed into a tin of Quality Street.
So there’s just one day left of 2014 and one big celebration to enjoy. I’ve always found New Year to be slightly depressing and a little scary if I’m honest. However, I’m gearing up to face new challenges, relish all opportunities and make the most of the good bits (there had blummin well better be plenty of those!)
I hope you all have a happy and healthy 2015 filled with love, laughter, fun and good fortune. Ill see you next year!
