Ten ways your child will benefit from a good night’s sleep.

A comfortable bed means a good night’s sleep. We all want that for our children don’t we? Imagine being the one waking them up for a change, instead of having your eyelids pulled open at 5am and being ordered to “make the porridge”.

Of course when they’re older it will be a different story entirely, with frying pans and sharp sticks at the ready to remove them from their slumber.

But until that day, we must make it our mission to squeeze in as many hours shut-eye as is humanly possible – for us and for them!

We know that a good bed, with a supportive mattress is a key contributor to a good night’s sleep, but what do our children get in return for an uninterrupted snooze?

1. Improved concentration, making school an easier place to be!
2. A boost in emotional and mental health thanks to the detoxifying benefits of a decent
night’s sleep.
3. Better responsiveness and memory. Research at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan
showed that good quality sleep could enable more effective learning.
4. Stronger immune system. Lack of sleep can suppress your immune system making you
vulnerable to infections.
5. Normal growth and bodily development.
6. Helps prevent weight gain and depression.
7. Quicker reflexes.
8. Happiness.
9. Looking and feeling fresh.
10. If your child sleeps better – so do you!
